Comprehensive Block support

We're currently developing comprehensive support for Gutenberg Blocks, so that all aspects of a Blaze Commerce project can be created and maintained via blocks using a Full Site Editing theme such as the Twenty Twenty-Four (opens in a new tab) theme, including:

• Header
• Footer
• Primary Navigation
• Homepage
• Category Page
• Product Page
• Pages
• Posts

We're aiming to complete the development over September and October and make it available by November '24.

Support for Checkout via nextjs frontend

Currently checkout is still handled by WordPress/WooCommerce, with the need for a user to move between the frontend to the checkout via a subdomain. This isn't an ideal user experience, nor does it leverage the benefits of a headless frontend.

We plan to introduce an initial release of our headless frontend in early '25
